My name is Jackie and as a young child I went through abuse every form of abuse and felt so alone. The abuse started when I around 7 years old. This abuse carried on into my adult hood and at one point almost took my life. In between these years I went through a divorce and was running from GOD more then ever before, I was a bitter and uncaring. I lost my uncle and I tried to run from GOD and hated GOD for taking the only person in my life that I felt loved and cared about me no matter what season I was at in my life. I remember waking up and yelling at GOD one morning while getting ready for work asking why he left me why didn't I have the strength to continue on. I heard GOD speak to me. Saying my child come to me in faith. I opened the bible that was sitting with dust on it and the vs I opened up to was Philippians 4:13: "I can do all this through him who gives me strength." It was on a hot July day in San Antonio Texas and I gave my whole self over to GOD and my life has done a complete turn around.
